Upcoming changes for Ember in 2025 – A message from the owner

Hi there, I’m Emily, owner of Ember Marketing Co. If you’re a client of ours, then you may have noticed some changes happening lately. While I’ve done my best to speak to all of my clients individually, I have a client list of over 200 talented business owners and it’s difficult to give everyone the personal experience they deserve. I hope this post will help provide some insight:

I have been working in this industry for over 20 years, and have seen technology change and grow, as I have alongside it. I started my digital career as a highly motivated teen, and have had the opportunity to work in many roles, including freelancer, marketing coordinator, manager, executive, and business owner. It has been inspiring to work with so many business owners over the years and help them reach their own professional goals. While I can say that I have reached success in many forms, I have come to the realization that as priorities in my personal life have changed, my company must change as well.

So what does this mean for Ember and our clients?

As of January 1st, 2025 Ember Marketing Co. will become Ember Marketing Collective. Instead of an agency business model, we will become a collection of individual contractors who know and work well together to help provide the services our clients expect. I have been fortunate to work with many talented freelancers and staff over the years, and will be passing work onto those I trust most. Click here to view and contact our talented collaborators.

What services will Ember continue in-house?

Going forward, Ember will only be offering website hosting services in-house. If your website is already hosted with us, no changes are necessary. If you prefer to manage your own hosting, we can easily transfer ownership to you at any point, or help facilitate moving to a new hosting platform.

What about active contracts and/or projects?

If you have an active contract and/or project with us, we will complete these projects as planned. We will provide direct, written notice if any contracts are to change in any way and will provide our recommendation(s) for contractors to complete new tasks in the future.

Thank you for many wonderful years with us, and I’m looking forward to what the future brings!
